Transient overexpression cell lysate was tested with Anti-GART antibody (H00002618-M01) by Western Blots. Western Blot
Lane 1: GART transfected lysate ( 46 KDa). Lane 2: Non-transfected lysate. SDS-PAGE Gel
GART transfected lysate
Use it directly for immuno-precipitation, or heat lysate with SDS gel loading buffer to 95°C for 5 minutes followed by rapid cooling for western blot application. If dissociating conditions are required, add reducing agent prior to heating.
In modified RIPA Lysis Buffer.
Store at -80°C. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
The protein encoded by this gene is a trifunctional polypeptide. It has phosphoribosylglycinamide formyltransferase, phosphoribosylglycinamide synthetase, phosphoribosylaminoimidazole synthetase activity which is required for de novo purine biosynthesis. This enzyme is highly conserved in vertebrates. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq
