    Lane 1: LDLRAP1 transfected lysate ( 29 KDa).
    Lane 2: Non-transfected lysate.

    Recommend Usage

Use it directly for immuno-precipitation, or heat lysate with SDS gel loading buffer to 95°C for 5 minutes followed by rapid cooling for western blot application. If dissociating conditions are required, add reducing agent prior to heating.

    Storage Buffer

    In modified RIPA Lysis Buffer.

    Storage Instruction

Store at -80°C. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

    Gene Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytosolic protein which contains a phosphotyrosine binding (PTD) domain. The PTD domain has been found to interact with the cytoplasmic tail of the LDL receptor. Mutations in this gene lead to LDL receptor malfunction and cause the disorder autosomal recessive hypercholesterolaemia. [provided by RefSeq
