Western Blot (Transfected lysate)
Application

Western Blot (Transfected lysate)

Western Blot analysis of TRAF4 expression in transfected 293T cell line (H00009618-T02) by TRAF4 MaxPab polyclonal antibody.

Lane 1: TRAF4 transfected lysate(53.50 KDa).
Lane 2: Non-transfected lysate.

In situ Proximity Ligation Assay (Cell)
Application

In situ Proximity Ligation Assay (Cell)

Proximity Ligation Analysis of protein-protein interactions between TRAF4 and TRAF6. HeLa cells were stained with anti-TRAF4 rabbit purified polyclonal 1:1200 and anti-TRAF6 mouse monoclonal antibody 1:50. Each red dot represents the detection of protein-protein interaction complex, and nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue).

Immunofluorescence
Application

Immunofluorescence

Immunofluorescence of purified MaxPab antibody to TRAF4 on HeLa cell. [antibody concentration 20 ug/ml]

    Gene Summary

This gene encodes a member of the TNF receptor associated factor (TRAF) family. TRAF proteins are associated with, and mediate signal transduction from members of the TNF receptor superfamily. The encoded protein has been shown to interact with neurotrophin receptor, p75 (NTR/NTSR1), and negatively regulate NTR induced cell death and NF-kappa B activation. This protein has been found to bind to p47phox, a cytosolic regulatory factor included in a multi-protein complex known as NAD(P)H oxidase. This protein thus, is thought to be involved in the oxidative activation of MAPK8/JNK. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed but the full-length nature of only one has been determined. [provided by RefSeq
