Rabbit monoclonal antibody raised against a human VAMP3 peptide using ARM Technology.
A synthetic peptide of human VAMP3 is used for rabbit immunization. Customer or Abnova will decide on the preferred peptide sequence.
Quality Control Testing:
Antibody reactive against human VAMP3 peptide by ELISA and mammalian transfected lysate by Western Blot.
In 1x PBS, pH 7.4
Store at -20°C or lower. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
1. Customer may provide cell or tissue lysate for antibody screening. 2. Rabbit monoclonal antibody generated by ARM technology is amenable to antibody engineering including F(ab)2, IgG, scFv and different Fc and non-Fc conjugates per customer request.
Synaptobrevins/VAMPs, syntaxins, and the 25-kD synaptosomal-associated protein are the main components of a protein complex involved in the docking and/or fusion of synaptic vesicles with the presynaptic membrane. This gene is a member of the vesicle-associated membrane protein (VAMP)/synaptobrevin family. Because of its high homology to other known VAMPs, its broad tissue distribution, and its subcellular localization, the protein encoded by this gene was shown to be the human equivalent of the rodent cellubrevin. In platelets the protein resides on a compartment that is not mobilized to the plasma membrane on calcium or thrombin stimulation. [provided by RefSeq
