Rabbit monoclonal antibody raised against a human PAFAH1B2 peptide using ARM Technology.
A synthetic peptide of human PAFAH1B2 is used for rabbit immunization. Customer or Abnova will decide on the preferred peptide sequence.
Quality Control Testing:
Antibody reactive against human PAFAH1B2 peptide by ELISA and mammalian transfected lysate by Western Blot.
In 1x PBS, pH 7.4
Store at -20°C or lower. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
1. Customer may provide cell or tissue lysate for antibody screening. 2. Rabbit monoclonal antibody generated by ARM technology is amenable to antibody engineering including F(ab)2, IgG, scFv and different Fc and non-Fc conjugates per customer request.
Platelet-activating factor (PAF) is a biologically active phospholipid with diverse biologic effects. PAF is degraded to inactive products by hydrolysis of the acetyl group at the sn-2 position to produce the biologically inactive products LYSO-PAF and acetate. This reaction is catalyzed by PAF acetylhydrolase (PAFAH). The various monomeric and multimeric forms of the enzyme are composed of alpha (MIM 601545), beta, and gamma (MIM 603074) PAFAH subunits.[supplied by OMIM
