Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
NEFL MaxPab rabbit polyclonal antibody. Western Blot analysis of NEFL expression in Hela S3 NE.Western Blot (Transfected lysate)
Western Blot analysis of NEFL expression in transfected 293T cell line (H00004747-T01) by NEFL MaxPab polyclonal antibody.
Lane 1: NEFL transfected lysate(61.50 KDa).
Lane 2: Non-transfected lysate.
In situ Proximity Ligation Assay (Cell)
Proximity Ligation Analysis of protein-protein interactions between NEFL and APP. HeLa cells were stained with anti-NEFL rabbit purified polyclonal 1:1200 and anti-APP mouse monoclonal antibody 1:50. Each red dot represents the detection of protein-protein interaction complex, and nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue). -

Gene Ontology
HyperlinkGene Summary
Neurofilaments are type IV intermediate filament heteropolymers composed of light, medium, and heavy chains. Neurofilaments comprise the axoskeleton and they functionally maintain the neuronal caliber. They may also play a role in intracellular transport to axons and dendrites. This gene encodes the light chain neurofilament protein. Mutations in this gene cause Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease types 1F (CMT1F) and 2E (CMT2E), disorders of the peripheral nervous system that are characterized by distinct neuropathies. A pseudogene has been identified on chromosome Y. [provided by RefSeq
