This antibody pair set comes with matched antibody pair to detect and quantify protein level of human TPP1.
Quality Control Testing:
Standard curve using TPP1 293T overexpression lysate (non-denatured) as an analyte.
Sandwich ELISA detection sensitivity ranging from approximately 729x to 3x dilution of the TPP1 293T overexpression lysate (non-denatured).
Antibody pair set content: 1. Capture antibody: mouse monoclonal anti-TPP1 (100 ug) 2. Detection antibody: rabbit purified polyclonal anti-TPP1 (50 ug) *Reagents are sufficient for at least 3-5 x 96 well plates using recommended protocols.
Store reagents of the antibody pair set at -20°C or lower. Please aliquot to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycle. Reagents should be returned to -20°C storage immediately after use.
This gene encodes a member of the sedolisin family of serine proteases. The protease functions in the lysosome to cleave N-terminal tripeptides from substrates, and has weaker endopeptidase activity. It is synthesized as a catalytically-inactive enzyme which is activated and auto-proteolyzed upon acidification. Mutations in this gene result in late-infantile neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis, which is associated with the failure to degrade specific neuropeptides and a subunit of ATP synthase in the lysosome.
