This antibody pair set comes with matched antibody pair to detect and quantify protein level of human ADH7.
Quality Control Testing:
Standard curve using recombinant protein ( H00000131-P01 ) as an analyte.
Sandwich ELISA detection sensitivity ranging from 3 ng/ml to 100 ng/ml.
Antibody pair set content: 1. Capture antibody: rabbit MaxPab® affinity purified polyclonal anti-ADH7 (100 ug) 2. Detection antibody: mouse purified polyclonal anti-ADH7 (20 ug) *Reagents are sufficient for at least 1-2 x 96 well plates using recommended protocols.
Store reagents of the antibody pair set at -20°C or lower. Please aliquot to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycle. Reagents should be returned to -20°C storage immediately after use.
This gene encodes class IV alcohol dehydrogenase 7 mu or sigma subunit, which is a member of the alcohol dehydrogenase family. Members of this family metabolize a wide variety of substrates, including ethanol, retinol, other aliphatic alcohols, hydroxysteroids, and lipid peroxidation products. The enzyme encoded by this gene is inefficient in ethanol oxidation, but is the most active as a retinol dehydrogenase; thus it may participate in the synthesis of retinoic acid, a hormone important for cellular differentiation. The expression of this gene is much more abundant in stomach than liver, thus differing from the other known gene family members. [provided by RefSeq
