  • Product Description:
  • Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against synthetic peptide of ESR1.
  • Immunogen:
  • A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding S305 of human ESR1.
  • Host:
  • Rabbit
  • Theoretical MW (kDa):
  • 67
  • Reactivity:
  • Human
  • Specificity:
  • This antibody recognizes ~67 KDa of ESR1 without phosphorylation site of SESR1 305 (It is confirmed by dot blot). It does not cross react to phosphorylation site of SESR1305 of ESR1.

  • Antibody Reactive Against Synthetic Peptide.
  • Recommend Usage:
  • Western Blot (0.1-1 ug/mL)
    ELISA (0.01-0.1 ug/mL)
    Immunoprecipitation (2-5 ug/mL)
    Immunohistochemistry (1:200)
The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
  • Storage Buffer:
  • In TBS, pH 7.2 (10% Proclin300)
  • Storage Instruction:
  • Store at 4°C. For long term storage store at -20°C or lower.
Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
  • Applications
  • Western Blot (Cell lysate)
  • Western Blot (Cell lysate)
  • The whole cell lysates derived from MCF-7 were immunoblotted by ESR1 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB12620) at 1 : 500 (Lane 1). The immunoreactive band is blocked by pre-incubation of immunizing peptide (Lane 2).

  • Gene Information
  • Entrez GeneID:
  • 2099
  • Gene Name:
  • ESR1
  • Gene Alias:
  • DKFZp686N23123,ER,ESR,ESRA,Era,NR3A1
  • Gene Description:
  • estrogen receptor 1
  • Gene Summary:
  • This gene encodes an estrogen receptor, a ligand-activated transcription factor composed of several domains important for hormone binding, DNA binding, and activation of transcription. The protein localizes to the nucleus where it may form a homodimer or a heterodimer with estrogen receptor 2. Estrogen and its receptors are essential for sexual development and reproductive function, but also play a role in other tissues such as bone. Estrogen receptors are also involved in pathological processes including breast cancer, endometrial cancer, and osteoporosis. Alternative splicing results in several transcript variants, which differ in their 5' UTRs and use different promoters. [provided by RefSeq
