Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against synthetic phosphopeptide of BCL2.
Immunogen:
Synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding T56 of human BCL2.
Sequence:
GHTPH
Host:
Rabbit
Reactivity:
Human
Specificity:
This antibody recognizes BCL2 with the phosphorylation site Thr56. It does not cross-react with non-phosphospecific peptide.
Form:
Liquid
Quality Control Testing:
Antibody Reactive Against Synthetic Peptide.
Recommend Usage:
Western Blot (0.1-1 ug/mL) ELISA (0.01-0.1 ug/mL) Immunoprecipitation (2-5 ug/mL) Immunohistochemistry (2-5 ug/mL) The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
Storage Buffer:
In TBS, pH 7.2 (10% Proclin300)
Storage Instruction:
Store at 4°C. For long term storage store at -20°C or lower. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
The whole cell lysate derived from UV treated Raji cell was separated in 10% SDS-PAGE, transferred onto NC membrane, and immunoblotted by Phospho-BCL2 T56 polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB12610) at 1 : 500. An immunoreactive band around ~26 kDa is observed.
This gene encodes an integral outer mitochondrial membrane protein that blocks the apoptotic death of some cells such as lymphocytes. Constitutive expression of BCL2, such as in the case of translocation of BCL2 to Ig heavy chain locus, is thought to be the cause of follicular lymphoma. Two transcript variants, produced by alternate splicing, differ in their C-terminal ends. [provided by RefSeq
