Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
CDC2 (phospho S39) polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB0436). Western blot analysis of CDK1 expression in Hela S3 NE.Western Blot (Cell lysate)
The CDC2 (phospho S39) polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB0436) is used in Western blot for detection in Ramos cell lysate.Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocellular carcinoma tissue reacted with CDC2 (phospho S39) polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB0436) which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. HC = hepatocarcinoma.Dot Blot (Peptide)
Dot blot analysis of CDC2 (phospho S39) polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB0436) on nitrocellulose membrane. 50 ng of nonphospho-peptide or phospho-peptide were adsorbed on their respective dots. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family. This protein is a catalytic subunit of the highly conserved protein kinase complex known as M-phase promoting factor (MPF), which is essential for G1/S and G2/M phase transitions of eukaryotic cell cycle. Mitotic cyclins stably associate with this protein and function as regulatory subunits. The kinase activity of this protein is controlled by cyclin accumulation and destruction through the cell cycle. The phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of this protein also play important regulatory roles in cell cycle control. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq
