Transient overexpression cell lysate was tested with Anti-CREB1 antibody (H00001385-M02) by Western Blots. SDS-PAGE Gel CREB1 transfected lysate Western Blot Lane 1: CREB1 transfected lysate ( 37 KDa). Lane 2: Non-transfected lysate.
Recommend Usage:
Use it directly for immuno-precipitation, or heat lysate with SDS gel loading buffer to 95°C for 5 minutes followed by rapid cooling for western blot application. If dissociating conditions are required, add reducing agent prior to heating.
Storage Buffer:
In modified RIPA Lysis Buffer.
Storage Instruction:
Store at -80°C. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
This gene encodes a transcription factor that is a member of the leucine zipper family of DNA binding proteins. This protein binds as a homodimer to the cAMP-responsive element, an octameric palindrome. The protein is phosphorylated by several protein kinases, and induces transcription of genes in response to hormonal stimulation of the cAMP pathway. Alternate splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq
