Applications
Western Blot (Transfected lysate)
Western Blot analysis of ACYP2 expression in transfected 293T cell line by ACYP2 monoclonal antibody (M06), clone 2H7.
Lane 1: ACYP2 transfected lysate(11.1 KDa).
Lane 2: Non-transfected lysate.
Western Blot (Recombinant protein)
Sandwich ELISA (Recombinant protein)
Detection limit for recombinant GST tagged ACYP2 is approximately 0.1ng/ml as a capture antibody.ELISA
RNAi Knockdown (Antibody validated)
Western blot analysis of ACYP2 over-expressed 293 cell line, cotransfected with ACYP2 Validated Chimera RNAi ( Cat # H00000098-R01V ) (Lane 2) or non-transfected control (Lane 1). Blot probed with ACYP2 monoclonal antibody (M06), clone 2H7 (Cat # H00000098-M06 ). GAPDH ( 36.1 kDa ) used as specificity and loading control. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
Acylphosphatase can hydrolyze the phosphoenzyme intermediate of different membrane pumps, particularly the Ca2+/Mg2+-ATPase from sarcoplasmic reticulum of skeletal muscle. Two isoenzymes have been isolated, called muscle acylphosphatase and erythrocyte acylphosphatase on the basis of their tissue localization. This gene encodes the muscle-type isoform (MT). An increase of the MT isoform is associated with muscle differentiation. [provided by RefSeq
