Flow Cytometry
Flow cytometric detection of endogenous TNFRSF10B. BJAB cells (1 X 106) were stained with TNFRSF10B monoclonal antibody, clone HS201 (Cat # MAB3478) (Black histogram) or with an unspecified mouse IgG1 antibody as a control (white histogram).
Flow Cytometry
Receptor specificity of the TNFRSF10B monoclonal antibody, clone HS201 (Cat # MAB3478). CV1/EBNA cells were transfected either with the empty expression vector pCDNA3 (vector control) or pCDNA3 encoding TNFRSF10A to TNFRSF10D. Two days after transfection, 1 X 106 cells were stained with TNFRSF10B monoclonal antibody, clone HS201 (Cat # MAB3478).
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily, and contains an intracellular death domain. This receptor can be activated by tumor necrosis factor-related apoptosis inducing ligand (TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO-2L), and transduces an apoptosis signal. Studies with FADD-deficient mice suggested that FADD, a death domain containing adaptor protein, is required for the apoptosis mediated by this protein. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms and one non-coding transcript have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq
