The cell lysate of Jurkat (40 ug) was resolved by SDS-PAGE and probed with CYR61 monoclonal antibody, clone 3H3 (Cat # MAB2043) (1: 250). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.
CYR61 is a secreted, cysteine-rich, heparin-binding protein encoded by a growth factor-inducible immediate-early gene. Acting as an extracellular, matrix-associated signaling molecule, CYR61 promotes the adhesion of endothelial cells through interaction with integrin and augments growth factor-induced DNA synthesis in the same cell type.[supplied by OMIM
