- Protein A Magnetic Bead
- Specificity:
- Human (IgG1, IgG2, IgG4) and mouse (IgG1, IgG2a, iGG2b, IgG3) IgG sublclasses. Also binds to total IgG from rabbit, guinea pig, hamster, cow, horse, and pig. Little affinity to rat, chicken, goat, and sheep IgG.

- Recombinant Protein A (Originally found in cell wall of Staph aureus bacteria)

- 400 ug human IgG/ml beads
- Storage Buffer:
- 1X PBS, 0.1% Tween 20, 0.01% NaN3, pH 7.5
- Storage Instruction:
- Stored at 4°C and do NOT freeze. To avoid contamination, please use sterilized consumables. Antibody coated beads may be stored at 4°C for several weeks without loss of antigen binding capacity.
- Note:
- Antibody-coated beads should be washed for 1 minute in PBS buffer before use.
During storage the magnetic beads will sediment to the bottom of the bottle. Prior to use the magnetic bead should be resuspended well by vortexing for 20-30 seconds to obtain a homogeneous dispersion of magnetic beads in solution. Each time, please add the fully resuspended magnetic beads in a single rapid pipetting action. Make sure to repeat the vortexing step fully prior to each single pipetting action.
