Applications
Immunofluorescence
Immunofluorescent staining of human peripheral blood monocytes with anti-DCIR antibody, clone 9E8 (Cat # RAB03404).
Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde human peripheral blood monocytes fixed on Shi-fix™ coverslips, stained with the chimeric r version of RAB03404 at 10 ug/mL for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody (1 ug/mL), showing cytoplasmic staining in a subset of cells. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). The isotype control was stained with an anti-Fluorescein antibody.Flow Cytometry
Flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood leukocytes with CLEC4A recombinant monoclonal antibody, clone 9E8 (Cat # RAB03404).
Paraformaldehyde fixed Human peripheral blood leukocytes were stained with anti-Fluorescein IgG antibody (isotype control-black line) or the r1 version of RAB03404 (blue line) at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h at RT. After washing the bound antibody was detected using a goat anti-mouse IgG AlexaFluor® 488 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000 and cells analyzed using a FACSCanto flow-cytometer. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
This gene encodes a member of the C-type lectin/C-type lectin-like domain (CTL/CTLD) superfamily. Members of this family share a common protein fold and have diverse functions, such as cell adhesion, cell-cell signalling, glycoprotein turnover, and roles in inflammation and immune response. The encoded type 2 transmembrane protein may play a role in inflammatory and immune response. Multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. This gene is closely linked to other CTL/CTLD superfamily members on chromosome 12p13 in the natural killer gene complex region. [provided by RefSeq
