Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
Western blot analysis of Hela (A), A549 (B), HL60 (C), U2OS (D) whole cell lysates with APC recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02575).Immunocytochemistry
Immunofluorescence
Immunofluorescent analysis of Lncap cells with APC recombinant monoclonal antibody (Cat # RAB02575). Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with the primary antibody in 3% BSA-PBS and incubated overnight at 4 °C in a hidified chamber. Cells were washed with PBST and incubated with a AF488-conjugated secondary antibody (green) in PBS at room temperature in the dark.Immunoprecipitation

Gene Description

Gene Ontology
HyperlinkGene Summary
This gene encodes a tumor suppressor protein that acts as an antagonist of the Wnt signaling pathway. It is also involved in other processes including cell migration and adhesion, transcriptional activation, and apoptosis. Defects in this gene cause familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), an autosomal dominant pre-malignant disease that usually progresses to malignancy. Disease-associated mutations tend to be clustered in a small region designated the mutation cluster region (MCR) and result in a truncated protein product. [provided by RefSeq
