Applications
Western Blot (Cell lysate)
Western blot analysis of TYMP polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB2870) in HepG2 cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). TYMP (arrow) was detected using the purified polyclonal antibody.Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections)
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinomareacted with TYMP polyclonal antibody (Cat # PAB2870), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining.
This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. -

HyperlinkGene Summary
This gene encodes an angiogenic factor which promotes angiogenesis in vivo and stimulates the in vitro growth of a variety of endothelial cells. It has a highly restricted target cell specificity acting only on endothelial cells. Mutations in this gene have been associated with mitochondrial neurogastrointestinal encephalomyopathy. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified. [provided by RefSeq
