This antibody recognizes the Mr 250000 and 180000 human tenascin polypeptides in immunoprecipitation and in immunoblots the Mr 250000 polypeptide. This antibody reacts with the fibrinogen-like knob-domain of tenascin protein. This antibody reacts especially with human paraffin sections.
