Mouse monoclonal antibody raised against native CD4.
Immunogen:
Native purified CD4 from human thoracic duct lymphocytes.
Host:
Mouse
Reactivity:
Human
Specificity:
The CD4 antigen is found on a subset of T cells including helper/inducer cells representing 45% of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes. It is also present on 75% of thymocytes and at a lower level on monocytes and macrophages. The CD4+T cell subset is involved in cellular interactions T-T, T-B and T-macrophages. It has been proposed that the CD4 antigen interacts with class II antigens. The CD4 antigen is a part of the HIV virus receptor on T cells.
Form:
Lyophilized
Isotype:
IgG2a, kappa
Recommend Usage:
Flow Cytometry (2ug/5x105 cells/test) Immunohistochemistry (Frozen sections) (1:25-1:50) The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
Storage Buffer:
Lyophilized from PBS (1mg/mL BSA)
Storage Instruction:
Store at 4°C on dry atmosphere. After reconstitution with distilled water, store at -20°C. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
