Non-invasive Prenatal Diagnosis Symposium
Isolation of fetal nucleated red blood cells (fNRBC) from maternal blood has been a major goal for non-invasive prenatal diagnosis. This up and coming approach is based on nano-velcro and herringbone microfluidic technology for capturing fNRBC as early as 7 week of gestation and accessing the complete fetal nuclear genome. These advantages are in contrast to the invasive, amniotic karyotyping and array-based cytogenetic testing, and the serum-based, cell-free DNA analysis which still relies on invasive procedure for genetic confirmation. We are inviting academia, clinical colleagues, and interested participants to join us and take advantage of this focused conference.
